The results are in for the Zodiac Circuit. Once again, it's a mixed result: only two acceptances... I only entered the open color and open monochrome sections, so that means only eight photos submitted, but they had four judgings, so two out of 32 isn't great. Still, one photo, "Vantage," featuring Dominique Zuniga at Valley of Fire in March 2016, received a bronze medal. It's another example of the wide variability in judging... that one awarded it with 15 points (out of an unknown maximum), when no other photo received more than 11 -- including the other three judgings, which awarded this same photo 7, 8, and 10 points.
Anyway, such is art, and I'm happy to be accepted and awarded in any case! Here are the two accepted photos. The second one is "Between Two Firs," with Queen Dandelion at Rialto Beach in July 2018. This is the first time it's been accepted in any contest.
