Results are back from the Three Country Grand Circuit, sponsored by the Republic of Ireland and also including judgings in Montenegro and Serbia. I actually had a fair number of acceptances at this Photographic Society associated contest, but most of them among the non-figurative photos I submitted. I had seven acceptances among my four entries to the Landscape (PIDC) category, for example, along with two each in the Life (PIDC) and Photojournalism (PJD) categories.

I wonder if success with figurative photographs can be correlated to the percentage of Roman Catholic (e.g. Ireland) or Muslim population, with their more conservative views on nudity? It would take a much larger sample than this, of course. And of course it's only fair to note that none of my Open Colour photos were accepted, even though (anticipating conservative judges) I didn't submit anything figurative in that category.

Anyway, here are the results of my figurative images, of which I submitted eight in the Woman (PIDC) and Open Monochrome (PIDM) categories:
