Five photos accepted at Photo Story Macedonia

Another round of Photographic Society-associated competitions are posting results! The first of these is Photo Story in North Macedonia, for which I submitted photos in three themes (Open Monochrome, Open Color, and Women) and had five of them accepted. Among these, I'll feature two here. "Discretion," with Zi Gattina, was photographed in Seattle in June 2017. I submitted it for consideration for the first time in a PSA contest, though it had been accepted and exhibited at the Midwest Center for Photography back in 2019. (Given that success, I probably should have submitted it to PSA contests sooner.) "Portend" is another photo with past success that I submitted to photo salons for the first time. It was made with Leo Velo in Seattle in February 2016, and then was accepted and exhibited at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival in April 2017. (I really like the name I came up with for this image, which nods to the Grim Reaper-reminiscent scythe hanging over Leo's head.)
