I have received word that my photo "Exclusive" (featuring Marzipanned at Frink Park in Seattle in January 2019) was selected for an Honorable Mention at 3 Square Art Gallery in Fort Collins, Colorado!

The exhibition presented a Gold, Silver, Bronze, and four Honorable Mentions, out of 51 finalists. So Honorable Mention's pretty good!

The exhibit, titled "Figure That!", is one I've applied to before, and the second time in a row that I've received an award!

One interesting side note on this. 3 Square Art posted its top award winners on Facebook and Instagram... unedited. The Bronze award also features a figure nude, but in mixed media (pen and paint, I think). Mine is a black and white photograph. That's the kind of thing that usually gets you banned by the Meta Monster. But apparently it's more clear that it's not "sexual solicitation" when it's an art gallery posting the image than when it's the original artist.

I find that fascinating.
