The results are back from the New Year Circuit, a Photographic Society-affiliated contest in Serbia that closed on (of course) New Year's Day. I'm decently pleased with the results; with five judgings, I received a total of eleven acceptances in the Color category and six in monochrome. One of my color images received an Honorable Mention.

I'm less pleased with the fact that none, zip, nada of my entries in the Nature theme were accepted by any judge. But it was already clear that this is a category in which I struggle, and the only reason I submitted photos was because the price structure of the Circuit allowed me to enter a third theme (besides just Open Color and Open Monochrome) at no additional cost. So I wasn't out anything for trying.
