The Silver Forest Trail is 2.5 miles round trip out and back from the parking lot at Sunrise in Mount Rainier National Park, along the edge of the White River Canyon. Sunrise Road doesn't even open until the end of June or beginning of July due to snowpack, but wildflowers soon follow and the views of Mount Rainier are spectacular. The best light is early morning, and the trail is accessible from July through early October. For more details, see https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/washington/ohanapecosh-and-stafford-falls-trail.
